L.A. Road Christian School is a small private school in Los Angeles, California.

Our purpose is to disciple families through Bible-based, academically-excellent education.

In a city with hundreds of public, charter, and private schools, LARCS seeks to offer what few of the others do–affordable, hands-on, excellent education with Jesus at the center. Over the years our patron families have appreciated the small, family feel. Whether through engaging lessons or eye-opening field trips, our goal is to foster both joy for learning and love for God’s truth.

How it all began

A mom meets Jesus at vacation Bible school and wishes she didn’t have to send her children to public school. A church family feels called to meet that need and God quickly provides a teacher and location.

Now in its tenth year, the mission of L.A. Road Christian School remains the same–to provide affordable, Gospel-centered, academically-excellent education and to disciple students and their families.

The vision of LARCS is to disciple both students and their families.

It’s always a joy to hear parents comment how their child sings Bible songs or quotes Scripture at home. Tucking truth into the hearts and minds of our students is not only formative for them, but it also encourages their families to keep their eyes on Jesus.
